Just finished scarfing down a bag of the new ginger Chewy Peps and they are great! They have really captured the bite and flavor of ginger. Amazing!

I discovered Chewy Peps at Shaw’s in West Portal (San Francisco) when I was young. When Shaw’s closed I was so sad aside from being a small neighborhood candy/ice cream store the peps were gone too.
A couple years ago while searching the internet I found peps again!
They’re really yummy.
I even turned my office onto them and now they’re hooked too!! 😃

This is a delightful peppermint candy in an unusual form. They start out like a hard candy but in the warmth of your mouth they start to soften and become chewy similar to but not as soft as taffy. My family loves them.

Chewy but not too soft like taffy. All flavors are excellent.

Chewy Peps bring back very happy memories when I visited my grandparents and they had similar candy in their candy dish. My cousin found Chewy Peps on-line and shared them with each of his cousins. What a delightful surprise!

Have been buying them since they were at the Emporium, more than 20 years ago. Yes, peppermint chews disappeared for some years: however, I was ecstatic when they returned.
The sole improvement and recommendation I can make is to retail them in a local store. Market Hall or other high-end or chocolatier) Perhaps you would be so kind to gratify / accommodate / harmonize. Enrich the lives of others. We would be so grateful..... Please.
