First tried Chewy Peps at a local boutique store! Ordered a bunch online for gifts! (Ordering more!). I love how you suck them until the perfect chew emerges! The mint flavoring is perfect! Love these so much!

The Chewy Peps are an iconic San Francisco treat. I love the texture and the flavor of the Peppermint, Molasses, Cinnamon, and even the Lemon from years ago.
My most favorite is Molasses Peps, but the molasses flavor is overpowered by the peppermint oil. It tastes less than molasses and more like peppermint after a few minutes . It defeats the purpose of this special flavor and is duplicative of the Peppermint Chew. If I wanted peppermint, I would have bought Peppermint Chews, but I only wanted molasses and was disappointed that it doesn’t really have that distinct and lasting flavor. I would have given Chewy Peps 5 stars, but the lackluster peppermint-molasses flavor pulled it to a 3-star.
