The Original Chewy Peps - Molasses - 5 oz bag

They are a great candy snack, not overpowering flavor. The ginger ones are equally delicious!

I discovered Chewy Peps at Shaw’s in West Portal (San Francisco) when I was young. When Shaw’s closed I was so sad aside from being a small neighborhood candy/ice cream store the peps were gone too.
A couple years ago while searching the internet I found peps again!
They’re really yummy.
I even turned my office onto them and now they’re hooked too!! 😃

Chewy Peps bring back very happy memories when I visited my grandparents and they had similar candy in their candy dish. My cousin found Chewy Peps on-line and shared them with each of his cousins. What a delightful surprise!

We have been looking for these chews for years and were hesitant when we found the Chewy Peps site. But these are just like the ones we used to get in Virginia City years ago! They are perfect and we will order again.

Chewy Peps were a holiday tradition for me for many, many years. There is just nothing else like them, that hard candy slowly melting intoa kind of satisfying taffy. Wonderful!

Then suddenly they seemed to disappear, I couldn't find them anywhere. I was crushed.

This year I decided to do a little search, and lo and behold, I found them again! I immediately ordered up a couple bags (one peppermint and one molasses, which was new to me), and harmony was restored.

In short, Chewy Peps are my favorite peppermint candy EVER, and I'm delighted they are back in my life.
